FAQ
Questions international patients actually ask
These come straight from the messages we receive every week. If yours isn't here, send it — a real person answers, in English.
Do the dentist and staff actually speak English?
Yes. Tommy, our English-speaking patient coordinator, handles your inquiry from the first message, and your diagnosis, treatment options, and costs are explained to you in English before anything is done. You can message us on WhatsApp or KakaoTalk, or email us, entirely in English.
How do I book an appointment?
Message us on WhatsApp or KakaoTalk, send an email, or call the clinic. To confirm a booking we need your full name, a phone number we can reach you on, and your preferred date and time. We recommend booking in advance — especially for Saturday appointments.
Where is the clinic, and how do I get there from Seoul?
We are on the 3rd floor of 63 Dongsong-ro in Deogyang-gu, Goyang — right by Samsong Station on Seoul Subway Line 3, which runs directly through central Seoul (Gyeongbokgung, Anguk, Apgujeong). From Samsong Station, use Exit 3. If you drive, the building's underground parking is free for two hours.
Can I get a cost estimate before I visit?
Yes. Send us a recent panoramic X-ray or clear photos of your teeth along with a description of what you need, and our team will review them and reply with realistic options and prices in Korean won. For orientation: a standard implant is ₩950,000 including the abutment and zirconia crown, porcelain veneers are ₩600,000 per tooth, and a full All-on-X arch starts at ₩9,000,000. A final treatment plan and exact fee are always confirmed after an in-person examination — and always before treatment starts.
I'm only in Korea for a short time. Can you still treat me?
Often, yes. Tell us your travel dates and we will plan around them. Thanks to our in-house dental lab, cleanings, fillings, inlays, crowns, and veneers can frequently be completed in one or two visits when clinically appropriate. Implant treatment is usually planned across two trips several months apart, and we will map the schedule out for you before you commit.
How does implant treatment work if I don't live in Korea?
A typical plan is two trips: a first trip of about 7–10 days for diagnosis and implant surgery (with extractions or bone grafting the same day if needed), then a second trip of about 10–14 days after 3–6 months of healing for the final crowns. Full-arch (All-on-X) cases usually need 12–14 days per trip. Between the trips you fly home and live normally with temporary teeth, and we stay reachable on WhatsApp throughout the healing months. We confirm your personal schedule after reviewing your X-ray — before you book any flights.
Is sedation available if I'm anxious about dental treatment?
Yes. We offer conscious sedation (₩200,000), which keeps you relaxed and drowsy but breathing on your own, for anxious patients and longer procedures such as implant surgery. Suitability is always confirmed first through a review of your medical history and current medications.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Bring photo ID, a list of any medications you take, and any recent dental X-rays or records you have (or send them ahead by WhatsApp or email). If you have a specific concern, photos of the area help us prepare before you arrive.
Will I be pushed into treatment I don't need?
No. Our process is diagnosis first, explanation second, and treatment only after you have understood and agreed to the plan and its cost. You will see your own X-rays and scans, hear the options — including the option to do nothing — and get the price in writing before anything begins.
How can I pay? Do you take international cards?
Yes — international credit and debit cards are accepted, and Korean bank transfer works too. Treatment is quoted and billed in Korean won, so if you pay by international card, your bank converts the amount at its own exchange rate.
Do you accept Korean National Health Insurance (NHIS)?
Our services for international patients are private-pay — we do not process National Health Insurance claims. We provide itemized English receipts and treatment documentation on request, which you can submit to your private or travel insurance — including U.S. TRICARE claims (coverage depends on your plan). If your insurer needs a specific claim form completed, bring it along and we'll help you fill in the treatment details.
What are your opening hours?
Monday, Thursday, and Friday 9:30 AM–6:30 PM; Tuesday and Wednesday 9:30 AM–9:00 PM (evening hours for people who work); Saturday 9:30 AM–2:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays and Korean public holidays.
